Father´s Day Cards - Paper Wings Productions

First of all I prepped my card bases with white gesso.

I used different crayons for each card. Drawing a random pattern over the dried gesso.

Looks like something my kid would have drawn.....

To blend the creyons together i sprayed on water.

After drying I couldn´t resist a bit of ink splattering....

After some more drying time I started to stamp with my Paper Wings Background stamps.
First I placed my cards side by side. Then I staped on two cards at the same time. The finishing toush was to stamp on the coffe ring and the grid pattern.

And this is what the cards look like after a bit of decorating.

Thank you for stepping by today!

Enchanting ATC

I admit - I love making ATC cards for Christmas. It all started a couple of years ago when I joined a swap hosted by Denise. I just got hooked by those little pieces of art. Making them are so fun. Even though they are small you can play around endlessly.

This year I have already made a couple different ones. Tree of them has been sent over the big pond and two found their way over the smaller pond to Riikka in Finland.

{Photos by Riikka - thank you!}

I always make my ATC´s double sided. This is the back (or front if you want to....).

Anyone interested in a swap - please send me a mail!

Happy Food - Pion & SATW Combo

The November Mood board from Scrap Around the World has some amazing colors. I decided to play along and choose to use papers from Pion Designs Collection "A Day in May" for my project.

The background was first covered with clear gesso, then I applied stamp ink & actylics with a sponge and my finger trough a stencil. When dry, I applied Twinkling H2O´s and a bit of wood grain stamping.

I added more paint and ink underneath the flowers and randomly over the page after adding the finishing embellisments.

The picture is from this summer when we visited one of my best friends summer house for a day. She made fab summer food like strawberries, wipped cream, vanilla icecream and rasperry lemonade. Pure summer in reduced size!

Material used: Papers from Pion Design. Embellishments from Prima Marketing, Wild Orchid Crafts, SODAlicious. Ink from 13@rts, Tattered Angels, Twinkling H2O´s and Ranger.

My Friend - Studio Tekturek November Challenge

I love this photo of my doughter with her two best friends. They look so sneaky and happy at the same time. It goes so well with these papers from Studio Tekturek. This page is a scraplift of Ola Mamuk.

Tread - off course. I hadn´t any black alphas that I liked, so I revamped a couple of blue ones. I covered them in black gesso first, and then painted them with Glimmer Glaze. The little chipboard heart and the butterfly was covered in Glimmer Glaze as well.

Material used: Papers, chipboard, cut outs (alphas & journaling cards) and badge from Studio Tekturek. Ink from Tattered Angels and Twinkling H2O´s.

Best part of Me - 13@rts November Challenge

You all know that I love a good challenge as well an making a good mess of things. This page was made for the November Challenge at the 13@rts blog. The moodboard was a mix of different blues, greys, whites and black. I tried to use the same color spread as the moodboard picture.

I started of by adding black gesso trough a stencil. After drying I sprayed on water, then ink, then more water. After letting it dry a bit I dragged a thick layer of Modeling paste over one section of the page, then used a texture tool to aschive the grid pattern. You can see the pattern on the picture below.

Material used: Papers, spray ink, modeling paste, metal trinklets, cutouts (tags) from 13@rts. Stamp from SODAlicious.
